2023 FIREWORKS RESTRICTIONS

This summer, the legal days for discharging legal fireworks are from July 1 to July 5, and from July 21 to July 25 from 11 AM to 11 PM On July 4th and 24th, you may discharge fireworks until midnight. These limited days and hours for the discharge of fireworks is set by state law.

Due to the extreme danger of wild land fires, Centerville City has prohibited the discharge of fireworks on the east bench. The Fireworks Restriction Area Map (PDF) shows this restricted area.

You may only use fireworks that are legally sold at retail stores in Utah that are designed for consumer use; these are labeled as Class C Common or sometimes marked 1.4G. Any fireworks that have the designation Class C Dangerous Explosives are illegal.
