In October of 2022 Officer Alex Farnes was awarded the Utah Department of Public Safety Medal of Valor. Officer Farnes was nominated by UHP Lt. Mike McKay for her heroic actions taken to stop a wrong way driver on I-15.

In February of 2019, Officer Shaun McWilliams was awarded the medal of valor by the Utah Peace Officers Association for his selfless actions on June 8th, 2018 when he helped rescue people trapped inside of a fully engulfed vehicle fire after a serious vehicle crash. The vehicle had rolled trapping the people inside when the fire started.
