NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – MUNICIPAL CODE TEXT AMENDMENT and ZONING CODE TEXT
AMENDMENT

Notice is hereby given that the Centerville City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,
August 18th, 2026, at 7:00pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at the Centerville
City Hall, 250 North Main Street, Centerville, Utah, regarding: (1) proposed Municipal Code Text
Amendments to Sections 3.03.060 Landmarks Commission (by changing the name of the
“Landmarks Commission” to “Historic Preservation Commission”) and 3.03.070 Whitaker
Museum Board; (2) proposed Zoning Code Text Amendments to Section 12.20.070 Landmarks
Commission by changing the name of the “Landmarks Commission” to “Historic Preservation
Commission”; and (3) to allow members of Whitaker Museum Board to act as Historic
Preservation Commission (old “Landmark Commission”) Members. If you have questions
