Remembering Jason Reed

In September of 2018 Officer Jason Reed passed away in an off-duty motorcycle accident.  Officer Jason Read loved to ride his motorcycle during his off-duty time. He was nearly home, after taking a ride, when a vehicle on the side of the road ahead of him made a sudden U-turn causing the collision. Jason was making good progress when he unexpectedly collapsed after a blood clot hit his lungs. Officer Jason Read was deeply respected and loved by many in the community of Centerville and especially within our department. We wish to send our love to Jason’s wife, parents, siblings and children on this difficult day.
